Summer is coming and for a lot of young Deltans, this is a time to build their work experience and skills that they will need for their future careers. By funding more than 180 jobs through the Canada Summer Job program here in Delta, we are helping our youth express their talents and develop the tools they will need to successfully enter the workforce.

From April 24th to July 24th, youth can apply for jobs offered by local Delta businesses, in diverse fields such as communication, administration, agriculture, sport, social services, web design, and food and entertainment. Canada Summer Jobs prioritizes projects that support youth who face barriers to employment, such as youth with disabilities, Indigenous youth, and other racialized minorities.
