As we continue to honor Canadians who served in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War, we must do the same for Canadians who served in war and peace keeping efforts around the world. This includes service in the Gulf War, Afghanistan, United Nations Emergency Forces, Ukraine, and several other key domestic operations, such as assisting with long term care homes during COVID.
