ADOLPH YAWORSKI
Warrant Officer Adolph Edward Yaworksi, was born in Rama, Saskatchewan and enlisted in Saskatoon on September 1941, right out of high school. He piloted a Handley Page Halifax lll aircraft, with a flight crew of six, which was part of a group of 15 aircraft from #427 (Lion) Squadron which was sent to bomb Berlin. His aircraft failed to return to base after the mission. He was Killed in Action on March 25, 1944 in what was the last major night raid on Berlin.
WO(1) Yaworski is buried in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
