My Father's name was Larry Giroux and my mother was Anne Masiowski (maiden name during her service). She served with the Women's Core. My Father passed last year at 97 but my Mom is still around, she is 98. 

My Dad, Larry, enlisted in Sept 1939 (at 17) and served with the Lord Strathcona's Horse for 5 ½ years in Italy, France, North Africa and Holland which is where he met my Mom, Anne, who was working in the auxiliary. They were married in Groningen, Holland in 1945. They had a family of 8 kids and were married for 73 years before my Dad passed away last year at the age of 97. My Dad was from Saskatchewan and my Mom from Manitoba. It was a love story during the war!

I've attached a picture of my Dad when he enlisted at 17 and another of him with his fellow tank division crew (taken in Holland) and also a picture of my Mom (taken in Holland). I've also included a picture of them at their wedding in a church in Holland which is now a war museum.
